每日一贴之二:Missed Call Summary & Call Back Alert Services与电信基础业务的结合,从基础业务中挖掘出一些新的业务。Missed Call Summary & Call Back Alert Services1. Overview概述The mobile network is unique in the information available concerning a customer’s situation. For example, the network ‘knows’ if the customer is connected to the network, on a call, roaming, or disconnected (phone off or out of coverage). This information can be used to help customers connect more successfully over the mobile network. Customer are becoming increasingly sophisticated in their phone use, voicemail usage continues to decline because it does not help them get in contact as soon as possible.对于手机用户而言,移动网络是一个可提供信息的独特的服务。例如,移动网络可以帮助用户知道对方是否在移动网络上?是否正在通话中?漫游或者是与网络没有连接(如电话关机或者是不在服务区)。这信息能够帮助用户通过移动网络能更为成功地联系上其它用户。用户在电话的使用上把日益复杂的使用变为简单化,从而语音邮件的使用变得慢慢降低。In the fixed network because the phone is permanently connected to the network, customers have a record of all calls they receive. On the mobile network, if the phone is off, the customer does not know who called, unless they leave a voice message. The Missed Call Summary service captures these calls, when a customer becomes available they receive an SMS with the list of calls they missed, and this event can stimulate customers to make more calls. In the mobile network, because of the unique information concerning the customer’s situation, this can capture many more situations when the caller is not available. An SMS or a call can be placed when the called party becomes available. Hence uncompleted calls can be transformed into value added messaging services. This service is currently in trial by several operators. Operator Proposition运营商的建议Missed Call Summary is being deployed by many European operators, for example Orange, T-Mobile and Vodafone. The service requires no marketing, as the customer through normal phone usage will experience the benefits of knowing if they missed calls while their phone was off. The best solution depends upon the operator’s infrastructure and voice services strategy.
